Hello! I am StarryEyes but I mainly go by Starry or Star. I am a 23 year old freelance artist who is currently attending college as an art major. I tend to draw a bit of mostly everything, but I mainly specialize in dragons, anthro characters and humans. I'm also super into cosplay and hope to get more into it soon! I consider myself to be a very friendly individual, despite my social anxiety, so don't be afraid to contact me!

Terms of Service

Listed below are my terms of service which include rules, rights, as well as dos and donts. Please read through them carefully. By commisioning me and/or owning a piece of artwork or design by me, you are agreeing to these terms. Failure to follow them may result in a blacklist.

As the artist:

  • I still hold rights to the artwork, meaning it cannot be used for commercial use unless discussed first.

  • I still hold rights as a design's original designer and must be credited. On Toyhouse, please be sure I am credited as either the creator or designer.

  • If the character is uploaded on toyhouse and correctly credited, you must keep the character public (or at least authorize me if you want your ocs private). This is so I know that no one is breaking the rules with my designs, and it makes me feel happier when I can keep track of them

  • I reserve the right to reject any commision or refuse to draw anything I feel uncomfortable with.

Will:

  • Humans

  • Dragons

  • Ferals and anthros

  • Monsters

  • Animals

  • Closed species

  • Redesign characters

  • Ship art (oc x cc, cc x cc and oc x oc)

Won't:

  • Fetish art

  • NSFW of feral or minor characters

  • Heavy machinery

  • Fetish art

  • Hate art

  • Design characters heavily based off of other ocs or copyrighted material

As the commisioner:

  • Use the artwork or design for personal use including icons, profile pictures, backgrounds, in edits, etc

  • Print out the artwork as stickers, posters, etc

  • Repost the art or character (with credit in at least one place)

  • Use the artwork or character in writing or roleplays

  • Change the species of a character (unless it is a closed species, must have permission first)

  • Make small changes to designs

  • Make very small changes to the art itself, such as adding freckles I missed, adding a birthmark, etc

  • Redesign designs (please check with me though)

  • Co-own a character

  • Have the right to request a refund after 6+ months have passed (amount you recieve may vary depending on how complete the commission is)

  • Create or buy NSFW of my underage or feral designs (you will be immediently blacklisted)

  • Sell a design for more than you paid for (can sell if you bought and created art)

  • Use my artwork for commercial use (must be discussed)

  • Ask me to lower my prices

  • Sell my designs to a blacklisted user

  • Order a commission for a blacklisted user

  • Request/Demand a refund immediately. Please understand that I am a working college student who can't focus 100% of their time on art unfortunately. Please be patient with me.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Will you draw x ?
A: Check my tos for this answer! If you're still wondering, please contact me!
Q: How long does a commision take?
A: This depends on the complexity of the commision and my availability. A piece may take only a few hours or a couple months. Please do be patient with me, my life can be hectic at times.
Q: How much would x cost?
A: You are free to make an assumption of how much a commision will cost using my prices, though you are always more than welcomd to ask! Sometimes the price may be a little different than what is listed.
Q: How long have you been drawing?
A: For as long as my baby fingers could hold a crayon. I've always been very artistic but didn't consider it as a career path until about six or seven years ago!
Q: When can I request a refund?
A: If you cannot commit to commisioning me then please do not commision me. It can be harmful, especially when I am using comm money to pay for something. However, the earlier the better. You will be refunded 100% before the sketch is completed, but will only receive part of what you paid depending on how much I have completed. This is so I at least gained something from the work I did.
Q: Can I ask for progress on my commision?
A: Of course! But please don't spam me every week asking for updates. Naturally, I will send you the completed sketch for approval and yiu are free to ask for updates at least every few weeks.
Q: Why are your prices so high?
A: Please do not ask artists this, it's kinda rude,, These prices are what I am comfortable with and you are in no way forced to commision me.
Q: I can't afford to commision you but I still want to support you, what can I do?
A: Simply following and liking what I post is more than enough! But if you want to financially support me too, you can donate to my ko-fi!
Q: Do you have a waitlist?
A: Yes and no. I usually prefer not to keep waitlists since I'm super forgetful, but there may be special occasions. If enough people are interested then I may open an offical waitlist.
Q: Why do you draw x?
A: I draw what makes me happy. I was a HTTYD kid throughout middle and high school, so I was obsessed with dragons. They're such a comforting thing to draw. Same with anthro characters. I don't identify as a furry myself, but I still enjoy the characters and own a few myself. As for my Mystic Messenger stuff, I draw them because I'm a simp lmao. Also women are very pretty.
